Computer-Guided Implant Surgery (with nSequence®)
Our computer-guided implant surgery is used in conjunction with 3D imaging X-rays. A machine takes a three-dimensional scan of your jaw and sinuses. Now, with a clear, full view of your mouth, Dr. Kimberly or Dr. Jed will evaluate your needs and make a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan.
The dental 3d imaging is used to do your implant surgery virtually, and then our laboratory -nSequence® - prints a unique surgical template to help guide the instruments during surgery. All aspects of the surgery are planned out before it begins; the surgery is done virtually and then a dry run is performed in the lab to make sure that everything will proceed perfectly. This helps eliminate the risk of errors and allows the procedure to go more smoothly and quickly. And this method of surgery is less invasive and traumatic for you, with quicker healing times and less swelling.
